Monday June 8 Livingston, TX

A Long Day

Five days a week this is breakfast at the Care Center.

This afternoon I had to drive up north of Livingston to pick up one of our residents who was at a convalescent center. I didn't get to far into the drive before I found myself behind this. Arriving to pick up my passenger I had evidence of what took me so long to get there. Smart Bob.

Driving the golf cart around to the back of the building tonight I realized I haven't post a photo of where the residents live. This is one of the streets. I think pleasant is is the perfect word to describe what it like staying here.

I'll leave you with this quote from the ancient Greek philosopher Epicurus. "It is impossible to live a pleasant life without living wisely and well and justly. And it is impossible to live wisely and well and justly without living a pleasant life."
